How did you get involved in Tri Kids?: Dave Dashiell was one of my Team – In- Training Coaches when I  first became interested in Triathlon in 2003. I was also fortunate to have Mari as a teammate so when the opportunity was announced in 2007, by the Peachtree Tri Club, I jumped at it.

Favorite Triathlons: St. Anthony’s and IronMan Brazil. St. Anthony’s was my first triathlon and I’ve entered and finished St. Anthony’s 5 times. IronMan Brazil was my first IronMan and was an awesome experience.

Triathlon Goal: Expand Tri Kids nationally

Favorite Tri Kids Moment: Watching Tina standing on the pool steps after finishing her swim to cheer on Jasmine and then watching them put their arms around each other and run into Transition together.

Why am I involved in Tri Kids?: It gives me the opportunity to work with some truly amazing kids that wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to achieve the incredible goal of completing a triathlon with a group of their peers.
